All faculty members are warmly invited to a wine and cheese reception in the lower level of Lindell Library immediately following the Faculty Meeting on Wednesday, September 13 from approximately 4:40 to 6:30 PM. In addition to wine, cheese and hors d’oeuvres generously provided by Provost Karen Kaivola, faculty members will be treated to:
- A behind-the-scenes tour of our newly expanded Digitization Lab – come see how the Library preserves Auggie history for current and future generations
- An introduction to Idun http://idun.augsburg.edu/ (ee-doon), Augsburg’s own repository for faculty and student scholarship
- A visit to the Special Collections room, featuring City of Augsburg room materials, Scandinavian music collection, items from the University Art Collection and the Rare Books collection
Librarians will be on hand to answer your questions about all the ways the Library facilitates student learning and supports faculty scholarship. Please join us as we kick off Year 1 of Augsburg University!
