Stop by the Biology Dept Home in Hagfors 232 on Friday, Jan 12th from 2-4PM for cookies, berries, coffee and conversation. Meet the Biology Department’s newest faculty member, Dr. Leon van Eck. Leon comes to us with broad training in plant biology and plant-pest interactions. His specific area of interest is in the Rosaceae family which includes many edible fruits such as strawberries and raspberries, as well as roses.
