Congressman Keith Ellison and Minnesota State Representative Ilhan Omar are coming to Augsburg to offer Reflections on Feminist Resistance and Human Rights Struggles in Honduras, a report-back from their November Delegation with Witness for Peace.
Augsburg University is hosting this special report by our lawmakers and Augsburg and community delegates who traveled to meet with journalists, lawyers, indigenous communities, and other human rights defenders and social movement leaders during the November presidential elections in Honduras which have been widely criticized for fraud and state violence.
