Since I was in community college, I’ve been participating in extracurricular activities and clubs like the Latinxs club as President, the LGBTQIA club, intramurals, and Student Government where I had the honor to serve my school as President. Being part of a student government where students come together and have the ability to change and create policy for the benefit of everyone in school and the community around us, has always been a passion and a reason for me to be part of it. What I wish to contribute to the Student Government, if elected, is my experiences, my connections, my knowledge, my struggles and achievements in order for the student body to thrive in our University.
