The following is excerpted from the May 2 email from President Paul Pribbenow to all faculty and staff regarding today’s All Hands Planning Summit:

Dear Faculty and Staff,

I look forward to being with you … in Si Melby Gymnasium for our 2018 All-Hands Planning Summit. This year’s event marks the official start of an important conversation on Commission150, the process to develop our next strategic plan which will launch in 2020.

We’ll gather at 8:30 a.m. for a continental breakfast; our program begins at 8:45 a.m. sharp. Our agenda includes:
>>A panel discussion–four perspectives on “Getting Innovation Done at Augsburg” with Christopher Houltberg, Joanne Reeck, Jacqueline deVries and Heather Riddle
>>An update on Sesquicentennial planning from co-chairs Darcey Engen and Jeff Swenson
>>Discussion of 26 different Commission150 table topics hosted by faculty and staff leaders from across Augsburg. We’ll spend just over an hour on Commission150; in three rounds, you’ll choose from a list of topics and move to a specific table for a 20-minute conversation led by the faculty or staff table host. For those who like to plan in advance, take a look at this incredible list of table hosts and topics [see link below]. We’ll also have this list available as a handout at [the] event.
