Faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend a program with Ambassador Ahmed Isse Awad, the minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation for the Federal Republic of Somalia. Ambassador Awad will speak about economic, political, and cultural issues in Somalia, as well as the country’s efforts to rebuild after years of war.
The program will take place from 2:00 to 3:30 PM in the Chapel. It is co-hosted by the Center for Global Education and Experience (CGEE), Global Minnesota, and the Humphrey School of Public Affairs. It will include a moderated Q&A session.
