The LIFE (Lutheran Immersion & Formation Experiences) in Service Network includes Young Adults in Global Mission (YAGM), Urban Servant Corps (USC), and Lutheran Volunteer Corps (LVC). All LIFE in Service organizations are ministries of the ELCA or are ELCA affiliated. Based in accompaniment, intentional community, simplicity, spirituality, and sustainability, each program is committed to being ecumenical, interfaith, LGBTQ+ affirming, and social and racial justice-centered. Each year, more than 200 LIFE in Service volunteers serve within the United States and around the world. LIFE in Service organizations have more than 3,400 alumni who continue to live out the value of service in their lives.
