CRES: Today’s Candidate and Feedback Invitation

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend (and participate in!) today’s teaching presentation by our third candidate for the CRES Latine/x Studies faculty position, which will begin at 11:00 am via Zoom. CRES Candidate Feedback Form

Updated ArcGIS Online Resource

Augsburg’s ArcGIS Online resource has been updated and is now easier to use, and available to every Auggie! To start using this tool, login to https://augsburgu.maps.arcgis.com and sign in with your Augsburg credentials. You can also click the ‘ArcGIS Online’ link under the ‘Augsburg Tools’ block in Moodle.

What is ArcGIS? GIS stands for Geographic Information System. The Online version of ArcGIS allows one to use, create, and share maps, layers, analytics, and data. Arc mapping software is created by ESRI (Environmental Systems Research Institute).

Basically, ArcGIS Online allows you to collaboratively (or independently) create and publish interactive maps, StoryMaps, timelines, and graphics.

Facilities Hiring Summer Student Workers

Augsburg’s Facilities and Custodial Department has immediate openings for six hard-working and motivated student employees to work 20-40 hours per week for July and August. Student workers will assist the on-campus custodial staff with preparation and cleaning of dorm rooms and other student spaces before Fall Semester.

Please submit any change forms you may have for your benefits to HR by noon Friday, July 9th to be processed on the July 16th pay date. This includes routine forms for HSA, retirement, direct deposit and tax withholding changes. Email payroll@augsburg.edu if you have questions or need assistance.

Time Sheets
Please submit your timesheet by the end of the day Friday, July 9th so your supervisor has time to approve it by the Monday noon deadline.
