submitted by gilmerje@augsburg.edu

The Cedar-Riverside Community Health Fair is this Friday, August 11th from 11:30am to 4:00pm. There are two shifts, the first from about 9:30am to 1:00pm and the second from 12:30 to 5:00pm. We can be flexible with timing AND there will be PIZZA! Tasks will involve setting up tables and chairs in the morning and breaking them down at the close of the event. You might also help direct vendors and community participants to parking, distribute backpacks to guests, and other tasks as needed. Pillsbury United Communities is the parent organization for the Brian Coyle Community Center located at 420 15th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55454, there are both Blue and Green Line train stops in the neighborhood, and multiple buses that run on Cedar and Riverside Avenues. This is a great way to spend some time with the awesome communities in Cedar-Riverside–and to use your community service hours! If you have any questions or concerns please email Jenean Gilmer at gilmerje@gmail.com. Thanks big time, this is sure to be a fun event!
