The two restrooms on the upper level of Christensen Center will be closed until late July to widen the doorways in order to bring them into alignment with ADA requirements.
A reminder that during the ongoing Dining Commons remodel project, the areas of 2nd floor Christensen that remain open include the Augsburg Room, the University Events office space, and the Dining Services kitchen. The main Christensen Center staircase is closed for the renovation. Please use the south staircase or elevator to access the 2nd level of the building.
For updates on the Dining Commons remodel project, see the Facilities Management link, below.

In 2019 a truck hit the pedestrian bridge over I-94 near the Augsburg campus, damaging it beyond repair. A temporary bridge was installed at that time. The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MNDOT) is now in the process of planning and designing a permanent bridge. MNDOT is hosting a “pop-up” engagement session near the bridge on Friday, July 12 from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM to gather input about the features that residents and workers in the area would like to see incorporated in the design for the new bridge. Look for the tables on the Augsburg side of the bridge, near Lot B. You can also share feedback about the bridge project by completing an online survey found on the MNDOT project page (see link below).
