If you need items printed and laminated you should place a request through the Copy Request System. You can find the link on the Copy Services website: https://sites.augsburg.edu/centralservices/copy-center-costs/. You can also find a link under the Administrative Tasks or the A to Z Directory on Inside Augsburg.
Once in the Copy Request System select the Print Advanced option. Print Advanced is for print jobs with finishing work like cutting or laminating. This will take you to where you can upload your document and let us know how you would like to have it printed. Be sure to select your paper as that also selects the size of the print. Card stock usually works best for laminating as the text weight paper can wrinkle while going through the rollers. The Copy Center can cut laminated items in straight lines only due to the tools we have. (Laminating projects with small pieces will have a hand work charge for the extra cutting involved.)
We can also laminate items you bring in as long as they are less than 24 inches wide and flat. If the items are a standard paper size you can place a order using the Copy Jobs option (designed for a hard copy original instead of electronic) and Customer Provided stock for your paper choice. If it is not a standard paper size please stop by the Copy Center and we can give you an estimate of what the cost and time would be.
The laminator does take about 30 minutes to heat up and everything needs to be cut after it is laminated. It does take time and cannot be done in an instant. Depending on the size of the job we can generally have it done next business day.
Other Finishing work we offer:
Cutting-Machine cutting to various sizes
Three Hole-punch papers as they print
Folding-Text weight paper can be folded- Half, Z, C or gate
Staple packets during printing
