As we head into the fall semester, faculty and staff will start hearing more about the upcoming transition to Workday. Workday is a cloud-based information system that will replace Unit4/Agresso, starting with the HR and Finance modules in late December and early January. Our HR, Finance, and IT colleagues have been working hard all summer to prepare for this transition.
HOW WILL I KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT?
Throughout the fall, faculty and staff can expect to learn more about the project through communication in A-mail, digital screens, the IT blog, surveys, and the December Focused Conversation.
HOW WILL I LEARN TO USE WORKDAY?
Training will be offered in multiple modes starting later this fall: Workday “road shows,” PDF job aids, videos, FAQs, and targeted training sessions for specific groups (e.g., managers). Our goal is to provide this training just in time when it is most useful.
WILL THERE BE HELP AVAILABLE DURING AND AFTER THE TRANSITION?
Yes! Project staff will offer Workday office hours, more “road shows,” and a dedicated support email address. We are also identifying key individuals within divisions who will serve as a point of contact, answer basic questions, and connect colleagues to support resources.
