Do you love maps? In SOC/URB 264: Mapping our Social World, you will learn the industry leading map making software ArcGIS Pro. You’ll learn how to analyze and interpret spatial data and make sense of why things happen in some places and not in others. This fun and interactive class is great for anyone interested in urban studies, sociology, environmental studies, computer science and so many more disciplines! Having a background in GIS (Geographic information systems) will give you incredible analytic skills and set you apart from other candidates on the job market!
