Thank you to everyone who came to our meeting! To everyone who missed it, we’ll be meeting again next Wednesday at the same time (3:30-4:30) in OGC 202. In the mean time, here are three easy actions you can take against the North Dakota Access Pipeline:
1. Leave a comment on the Environmental Impact Statement for the pipeline here (http://standwithstandingrock.net/take-action/). The Department of the Army published the Notice of Intent to require an Environmental Impact Statement in the Federal Register on January 18th. Thus, the statement is open to public comments until February 20th.
2. Stop by the American Indian Student Association table in Christensen tomorrow to learn more, talk with people, and buy a t-shirt!
3. Tell your your friends to do the same!
