It is with sadness that I pass along the information that Barry Franklin, former Assistant Professor of Education at Augsburg College, passed away.
Barry taught at Augsburg between 1978-1984, serving as Department Chair for part of that time. Barry’s wife, Lynn Marie, is a graduate of Augsburg where she received her degree in Sociology.
While Barry went on to teach at other institutions, he was very fond of his time at Augsburg. He retired as faculty emeritus from Utah State University, while building an impressive body of scholarship over the course of his career.
