On Monday, February 20, Barb Hendricks will be joining the Augsburg College bookstore as the store manager. Barb began her career with Barnes & Noble Inc working as a bookseller, entering the Bestseller management training program and advancing first into a department manager role and later into the assistant manager position. As her life evolved, she left Barnes & Noble for the opportunity to work with a non-profit focusing on educational partnerships in the K-12 world.
Originally from Rockford, IL, Barb and her family moved to the Twin Cities last spring, where she resumed her management responsibilities with Barnes & Noble in Eden Prairie. She was presented the opportunity to gain greater work/life balance through a position with Metro State University as a bookstore Co-Manager. Please join us in welcoming Barb to both Barnes & Noble College and the Augsburg College Community.
