The Gilman scholarship application deadline has been extended an extra couple days! This NEVER happens, so take full advantage of the opportunity to really improve your application! Here are some things you can do:
1. Share your essay drafts for feedback! Think about staff or faculty advisors, (including fantastic TRIO advisors) and other folks who know you like older siblings, etc.
Making changes on feedback you get is the BIGGEST key to winning!
2. Use Gilman resources from this page to improve your essays: https://www.gilmanscholarship.org/applicants/essays/ Make sure to check out their short video on “Writing a Competitive Essay.”
