TODAY: You are Invited to the Black Men Teach College Cohort

Greetings Gentlemen,

Black Men Teach is looking to recruit and develop a cohort of Black men who are either actively considering a career in elementary education or are open to the idea. The men in the Black Men Teach college cohort may be eligible to receive various forms of support throughout the remainder of their collegiate journey and into their professional careers. Benefits of cohort membership include:
1:1 Mentorship with current black male teacher
Paid classroom internship during studies
Paid stipend for student teaching
Access to community of Black Male college students
Summer work opportunities
Scholarship opportunities

To be eligible for the Black Men Teach program, you must be enrolled in a college or university in the Greater Twin Cities Metropolitan area, identity as a Black male, and have an interest in finding a career filled with purpose fulfillment. You DO NOT need to be studying education or on a path to becoming a teacher.

Our college cohort meeting will take place virtually on Tuesday, October 20 at 6:30PM and will feature teacher, author, and artist, Dwayne Reed. Mr. Dwayne Reed has been featured on Rapzilla, ABC 7 Chicago and Good Morning America. Attendees will also receive a $25 virtual gift card.
