Plan for a Safe Halloween and Help Slow the Spread of COVID-19

Confirmed cases of COVID-19 continue to rise in the region and across the United States. Although Augsburg has been able to keep its 14-day on-campus case rate below 1%, reports of positive cases are increasing among students who live and study off campus.

Public health officials are urging people to make plans to keep themselves, their families, and friends safe for the upcoming holidays. For those planning to go home for the Thanksgiving break, it’s best to be smart and safe now so that you don’t risk taking COVID-19 home to your families at Thanksgiving.

See the October 24 COVID-19 Status Blog for recent Augsburg metrics and guidelines for safe Halloween celebrations.
