Augsburg’s Mexico Study Center

submitted by leess8@augsburg.edu

Did you know that Augsburg has a study center in Cuernavaca, Mexico? It is one of the most popular (and affordable!) study abroad destinations for Auggies.
Augsburg CGEE programs in Mexico are ideal for any student interested in learning more about social change from the Mexican perspective. Students will take classes in English with a cohort of other students from the U.S. and will include a lot of interaction with the community. Host family stays, weekly programming with Mexican students from a local university, guest speakers, and excursions are all included! Internships are also available, for those who already speak some Spanish (two college level courses and above).
Auggies can also complete several graduation requirements, including: Natural Science (with lab), Fine Arts, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Recreational Wellness, Humanities, Search for Meaning II, Modern Language, and Augsburg Experience.
Plan ahead now – spring 2021 semester deadline is November 1st, or, fall 2021 deadline is April 1st. See yourself studying abroad in Mexico soon!
