Are you registered for the On-campus Internship & Career Fair taking place next Wednesday, September 28th from 3:00-5:00 PM in the Chapel? If not, register in Handshake today.
There is value in attending the On-campus Internship and Career Fair for a variety of reasons.
First, this is a great opportunity to learn about summer 2023 internships and full-time job opportunities. Additionally, this is a fantastic setting to practice networking with employers – you’ll get to practice skills such as introducing yourself, giving a firm handshake (still expected in some industries), marketing your skills, answering basic interview questions, and asking questions of the company. Each of these skills are critical for finding a job. Finally, attending the Fair would also be an opportunity for you to learn about alternative career paths that you may not have thought about previously.
