The Music department is seeking to hire one student employee to serve as a student assistant and orchestra manager.
Duration: Academic Year 2025-26, from September-April, approximately 3-5 hours/week. May include some training hours in April 2023 with the existing student manager.
Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
– Assist the Fine Arts Coordinator and administrative assistant with coordination and management of the orchestra ensemble, orchestra performances, and other departmental concerts and events.
– Act as main student manager for the Advent Vespers Orchestra, coordinating with faculty, staff, and students as needed.
– Function as music librarian for the orchestra.
– Perform general office duties as needed.
