The Augsburg community is invited to join in a student-led know your rights peace vigil in front of Christensen Center on Wednesday, November 5, at 12:15pm. The community event will include a few words offered by two Auggie students and a public reading of basic rights afforded to all persons living in this country under the U.S. Constitution. This project is being organized by Empathy in Action, a student-led class project of the Department of Critical Race and Ethnicity Studies (CRES). Students enrolled in “Politics of Latinx Migration” co-organize local projects through Empathy in Action that provide direct support to families and/or contribute to a more humane political discourse around migration. All Auggies are welcome.
