Saturday, April 4 — Cataract Quarterly – Issue 1 Release Party

submitted by ibarra@augsburg.edu

You are invited to join us at 301 Cedar Ave (recently the Afghan Cultural Center) this Saturday, April 4th from 5–10PM, to celebrate the Issue #1 release of Cataract Quarterly, a new periodical dedicated to digressive surveys of mundane existence. Written and designed by Augsburg Visual Art & Design Assistant Professor Dan Ibarra. Issue 1 features “The Remnant”, the story of a parcel of land ‘too small and poorly shaped to have any practical value.’

There will be copies for sale, a conversation at 7PM between Ibarra and Augsburg Environmental Studies Director Joe Underhill, cool-weird folks like you to talk to and hear from, hot dog and sambusa bar, music, drinks, and hand-made jersey barrier–shaped seed bombs free with every purchase (while supplies last).
