Three Augsburg teams participated in this year’s MinneMUDAC data analytics competition, culminating with presentations on the University of Minnesota’s campus this past Saturday, April 5. Fourteen MCD majors and minors worked for a month on a dataset presented by Big Brothers Big Sisters Minnesota, helping the nonprofit company figure out how to make matches between the Big and the Small long-lasting and successful.
On Saturday, the teams presented their work multiple times to professional judges both from the academia and the industry, along with almost 70 other teams from other universities. What a fabulous effort and experience for all! Kudos to all for such a great representation of Augsburg!
