Join your fellow citizens for the first annual Minnesota Symposium on Civic Renewal
OCTOBER 24, 11:30 AM to 7 PM | THE COMMONS HOTEL, MPLS
Hosted by the University of Minnesota College of Education and Human Development and sponsored by the Spencer Foundation.
Americans of diverse political, social, and cultural perspectives agree that our public life is polarized, dysfunctional, and displaces citizens from the center of self-government. Learn from fellow Minnesotans working together, across differences, to reassert their ownership of public life and their responsibilities to improve it.
The day opens with a luncheon address by nationally recognized depolarization expert Bill Doherty and features a keynote address from Harvard philosopher, Washington Post columnist, and best-selling author Danielle Allen.
