The Human Resources team is excited to announce that Sophia Park joined Augsburg on Monday, June 8 as our new Benefits and Payroll Specialist! Sophia comes directly from the JW Marriott Hotel in Minneapolis as their HR Generalist. Her background also includes working with Doctors Without Borders and Sanofi in diverse HR positions. Sophia graduated from the Sookmyung Women’s University in Seoul, South Korea, with degree in Law and Real Estate. Sophia joined Augsburg University to contribute her skills to society and expand her career in HR in a mission-based organization. Sophia also teaches Korean language at Korean American Association of Minnesota. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 6 months old son, traveling and taking walks. Along with the HR and Payroll team, Sophia is working remotely and can be reached at parkso@augsburg.edu.
