I am pleased for Amanda Erdman to announce that she has taken a new position and sad to say she will be leaving Augsburg. She has given Augsburg University 13 years of leadership, dedication, and heart. Arriving on campus in 2007, Amanda opened the Oren Gateway Center as the newest residence hall on campus and the new home of the StepUP program. She has long been a supporter of the recovery community. In her role as Director of Residence Life, she hired, trained, and worked with countless professional staff, many of whom continued in higher education providing leadership on campuses across the Midwest. As an administrator, Amanda demonstrated precision and creativity in occupancy management. Her budgeting and analysis expertise led her to accept a new position as property manager analyst. June 23 will be Amanda’s last day working at Augsburg University, but she will always be an Auggie. Please join me in thanking Amanda for her many contributions to our campus. She will be missed.
