The Study Abroad/Away office will be exploring study abroad and online global options during the week of September 14-18, and on Friday the 18th we will be hosting our first ever virtual study abroad/away fair!
Check out our study abroad “preview pages” to see which programs and providers will be available to meet at the virtual fair on Friday. Various videos and quick introductions have been included to give students time to learn and explore their global options. Instructions on how to connect at the fair, including links and schedules, will be posted at the preview page website, so keep checking for new content every day!
Daily events during world exploration week include:
Monday 9/14: Getting Started – what is study abroad/away and how does it work at Augsburg?
Tuesday 9/15: Find Your Program! – There are so many choices! Learn tips and tricks on how to narrow your search for the perfect program for you.
Wednesday 9/16: Revolution & Justice – Hear from Augsburg CGEE’s global faculty from Nicaragua on what we can learn from revolutions around the world.
Thursday 9/17: CGEE Study Centers – Learn about the most affordable study abroad programs for Auggies, our very own CGEE Study Centers!
Friday 9/18: Virtual Study Abroad/Away Fair – Meet with providers and exchange partners from around the world in real time to ask questions and learn more about programs that interest you (pre-registration required)
Can’t attend live? No problem! Events will be recorded and released for students to watch at their own time and leisure. We can’t wait to explore the world with you!
