Peace be yours, beloved Augsburg community.
I have served as a campus pastor at Augsburg University these past eight years, and it has been my joy to accompany this community rooted in the Lutheran church but open to the dynamic and eclectic ways we encounter the Holy. With that said, September 30th will be my last day as co-pastor at Augsburg. My heart has called me back to parish ministry, and I will serve as one of the pastors at Grace University Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. I give thanks to God for my colleague and cherished friend, Pastor Babette Chatman, who will continue to lead Campus Ministry. Not to mention, the amazing staff team of Campus Ministry: Janice Dames (Administrative Assistant), Fardosa Hassan (Muslim Student Program Associate & Assistant Director of Interfaith Institute), Andrea Sorum (Chapel Musician), and Tori Remer (Pastoral Intern)! I urge you to support these dear ones in this time of transition. You are invited to come to chapel on Thursday, September 30th at 11:30am for my final service among you as pastor.
