Boren Award Workshop on Thursday: Scholarship for Language Study Abroad

Boren Award Scholarship: Info Workshop on Thursday via Zoom, 1pm-2pm

The Boren Awards are significant travel funds for U.S. students studying abroad in world regions critical to United States interests. Students must study one of a wide range of critical languages, such as Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Swahili.

Most programs are a semester or more, but STEM majors can be awarded for an 8 week summer experience. Learn more about the Boren Award: https://www.borenawards.org/

Attend the Workshop to learn more about the Boren Award, the requirements and qualifications, and the many benefits of being awarded, including job/career opportunities after graduation.
