Learn how to impress recruiters and interviewers in this hands-on, fast-paced workshop presented by SciTech! There will be engaging activities that will help you feel prepared and confident in your job search. You will learn two critical skills:

How to create and use an elevator pitch
How to respond when someone says “Tell me about yourself”

About SciTech:
The mission of SciTech is to connect college students majoring in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) to paid internships in small to mid-sized companies.
SciTech was created in 2011 to address Minnesota’s STEM workforce needs. Since its inception, SciTech has helped nearly 2,200 students find paid internships in small and medium-sized Minnesota companies.

About LS-NSSA:
The Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) is an initiative funded by the National Science Foundation which is intended to double the number of African-American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, Alaska Native and Pacific Islander students receiving baccalaureate degrees in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) in a five-year period.
The Louis Stokes North Star STEM Alliance is the Minnesota branch of this nation-wide program.
