Explore Costumes and Fashion This Fall with a Course in the Theatre Department

This course will cover topics such as elements and principles of art and design, fashion designers in film, history of stage makeup and techniques, tattoos in theater, rendering costumes, facial hair, costumes in opera, fabric identification, how clothing is a form of nonverbal communication, and much more. Explore the creative process behind fashion and theatrical costume design.

This course is great for future theater artists, artists and designers of any medium, History majors, English majors, and those who simply appreciate the visual arts and want to gain more knowledge about this field!
