Staff Senate nominations are now open! Please nominate yourself or a colleague who you think would be a great fit! The deadline to nominate is Friday, May 30. After which a ballot will be sent out in early June.
Everyone who is nominated is asked if they would like to accept their nomination, so even if you’re unsure whether or not the person would be interested, nominating them doesn’t commit them to anything! We’ve added some info below to give you an idea about what the Staff Senate does and some of the events we did this year. The Augsburg University Staff Senate is a body of elected staff members who advocate on behalf of the staff, foster meaningful dialogue, and work to recognize and celebrate the impact of staff members on the University and community.
Staff Senators meet monthly to discuss events, staff/campus concerns. This year we hosted several staff wellness events and the annual staff appreciation.
