My name is Pat Maloney I am currently a Political Science major at Augsburg University. Over the last year I was presented with the opportunity to join the campaign of one of my Professors. Professor Yakasah Wehyee is currently running for State Senate in District 44. Over the last year I have gotten invaluable first hand experience ranging from delegate outreach to attending a caucus and speaking to local citizens from each of the precincts within the district. As a Political Science major this opportunity has empowered me to take what im learning in the classroom and apply it to my community in a worthwhile way. I am hoping to extend the same opportunities to my peers. I am writing this on behalf of the campaign and wanted to see the best way to go about this. We are looking for volunteers who can aid with Door knocking, Phone banking, Fundraising, Convention aid, General Support Staff.
