Classes start Wednesday, and we need volunteers to serve as “public health ambassadors” on campus to greet students enrolled in in-person classes during the first week.
Shifts start this Wednesday, Sept. 2, and range from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Some are located outside the entrance to buildings and others are in main open areas.
The volunteers — staff, faculty, students! — will remind students to wear face coverings (we will provide you with some disposable masks to hand out if needed), promote use of the CampusClear screening app (CampusClear.com), and aid students with mobility issues.
