The CDC has authorized boosters of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at least six months after receiving the second dose for certain eligible groups, including educators and education staff. At this time this is only for people who received the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine as their primary series. Officials are still reviewing data from Moderna and Johnson & Johnson and will decide when recipients will be eligible for a booster.
