There have been phishing that attempt to change or steal personal information by impersonating employees using specific job titles and plausible email signatures.
Human Resources has been committed to establishing practices for identity verification and preventing these phishing scams. When changing or submitting your personal and sensitive information such as benefits, tax, bank account, social security numbers, etc., please follow the requests below.
• Please use the appropriate forms on the HR website (https://sites.augsburg.edu/hr/)
• All form submissions and requests should be made from your @augsburg.edu email address unless there is a special circumstance.
• When sending information or forms containing sensitive information (such as SSN, driver license numbers and medical certification), please submit it through a secure link, LeapFile (https://augsburg.leapfile.net).
