Kick off the new school year by attending a show at The Cedar, an amazing music venue located just a few blocks from campus. On September 1, any university/college student with a current student ID can get $5 tickets at the door, day of show! Thursday, September 1, MAKING MOVIES with Spaceglow, Doors Opn: 7:00 PM / Show 7:30 PM. Mixing classic rock and blues with rumba, merengue, cumbia, and mambo, Kansas City band Making Movies honors their members’ Mexican and Panamanian heritage and broadly encompasses the many sounds of the Americas. With this innovative approach, Rolling Stone said the quartet is “breaking down walls in the U.S.”
