Public Safety is seeking to hire student employees to work during the hours of midnight to 6:00 am throughout the weeks of summer. Duties for this position include the following:
- Assist Residence Life staff as requested in responding to incidents in the residence halls
- Provide building access to emergency services as needed (Police, Fire, EMS)
- Grant access to residential spaces upon request and confirmation of residency
- Walkthrough academic and administrative buildings
- Observe and report to dispatch any suspicious activity, and coordinate with DPS dispatch on emergency services response (Police, Fire, EMS)
- Patrol campus property and report concerns such as safety issues, facilities problems, or suspicious behavior
