Applying for a Fulbright or Grad School? This Zoom Workshop Can Help – Thursday, July 9, at Noon

submitted by devries@augsburg.edu

Writing a personal statement is a standard part of all applications for Fulbright awards, other major grants and fellowships, and graduate school. But finding the right story line and voice is often hard. What exactly is a personal statement? What does it need to do? And what does a good one look like?

If an application is on your horizon, make time to attend a workshop on writing personal statements. This 90-minute session will help you understand what a personal statement is (and is not) and provide examples to guide and inspire.

Thursday, July 9, 12 noon to 1:30 pm, on Zoom (email me for the link)

I can offer additional options if these times don’t work for your schedule — just contact me to discuss.
