Standardized Patient
Job Overview:
We are seeking 2-3 actors to perform as standardized patients for the Augsburg Doctoral Psychology Program. Standardized patients will act as children and adolescents participating in a psychological evaluation to support student learning. Standardized patients will have scripts, but some improvisation may also be required.
Details:
Selected actors will participate in a one-hour training with Dr. Frank. During that time, actors will receive character descriptions, scripts, and additional guidance on the standardized patient role. Following the one-hour training, multiple opportunities will be available for actors to participate in 1–2-hour training event activities with psychology students on Augsburg campus.
Pay: This job will pay $30 per hour.
Schedule: The in-person training session is tentatively scheduled for Friday, April 10th, 2026, from 4-5PM. Event dates are tentatively scheduled for Monday, April 13th 4-6PM; Monday and April 20th 4-6PM. Additional dates and times may be added based on student need and actor availability.
