Hi, my name is Zander. I am a Senior, and I am disabled and in a wheelchair. I am looking for a PCA to help out when my regular PCA can’t. You do not need to be trained to be a PCA, as I will provide all of the training you will need, as it is not that technical of a job. My PCA comes to my dorm every day to help me with certain tasks that I cannot complete in a timely manner.. You would come when my main PCA needs a day off or can’t make it that day for different reasons, and help me with the tasks that they would usually help me with on that day. Some of the tasks you would do daily are refilling water bottles, refilling humidifiers, and making a bed. Expect this to take 15 or 30 minutes out of your day. Then, on top of that, I also require assistance with bathing once a week. Expect that to take an hour once a week. This job comes with very flexible hours. I will tell you what day I would need you, and you would pick a time on that day that you would come. There is no set required time that you have to come each day. The rate for this job will be $13 an hour; however, you are usually not there longer than an hour, so it usually turns out to $13 per day. If you are interested in helping me out and scheduling an interview, contact me at (612)430-3233 or at dipaolaz@augsburg.edu.

Are you interested in tracking your exercise, workouts, heartrate and progress to greater fitness? The Polar chest strap does it all and syncs everything to your phone via the Polar app. This is barely used, practically new, still in the box. I also have an older used one that I just put new batteries in, not in a box with a size small strap. The new Polar device still in the box is a medium. New it cost $104. I am selling for $80. I am selling the older used but still working Polar heart rate monitor for $40

Hi, my name is Zander. I am a Senior, and I am disabled and in a wheelchair. I am looking for a backup PCA to help out when my regular PCA can’t. We have a family member downsizing and they have an elliptical machine they no longer need. Free to a good home…great for workouts on those dark winter days.
It’s a Horizon Evolve 3 (MSRP $1399) in great shape, lightly used. Folds up when not in use. Easily transported in a minivan or pickup truck. Not too heavy…two people can carry it up or down a flight of stairs to get it into your basement workout area.

Pickup only in the Longfellow neighborhood (near Epworth United Methodist Church). Contact clement@augsburg.edu if interested!

Hi, My name is Beth Garcia I am a 3rd year Biopsychology and Chemistry student. As I was wrapping up my summer research through McNair.
On July 25th—my mom’s birthday—both of my parents were hospitalized. My dad is battling pneumonia, and my mom had to undergo emergency surgery to remove her appendix. She’s also experiencing respiratory issues.
This has been incredibly hard on my family, emotionally and financially. We’ve created a GoFundMe to help with their medical bills and recovery costs.
If you’re able to donate or even just share the link, it would mean the world to me.
