Last night Augsburg hosted the 8th Annual Math Jeopardy competition in front of an enthusiastic audience in Hagfors Center. Students from Augsburg, Concordia-St. Paul, Macalester, and St. Thomas competed. Macalester won the competition by the narrowest margins over the Augsburg team. It was a highly competitive game with the outcome decided on the final Jeopardy question. The questions featured calculus and discrete math topics as well as categories from the movies like Marvel Math and Marvel-less Math.

Many thanks to the Unbounded math club officers who helped with publicity, planning, and set up. Congratulations to the Augsburg mathletes who participated: Lidiya Ahmed, Lexander Boukal, David Braun, Emily Foley, Julie Henderson, Lewis Istok, and Matt Muller. A very special thanks to Matt Haines for writing the questions and then being the master of ceremonies for the 8th year in a row.
