Laura Swanson Lindahl Promoted to Asst. Director of Marketing Management

I’m pleased to announce that Laura Swanson Lindahl has accepted a promotion to fill the new assistant director of marketing management position in the Office of Marketing and Communication. This position was created as part of the shared services agreement for marketing between Augsburg and Luther Seminary. As assistant director, Laura will play a role similar in some ways to what an account executive would do at a marketing agency. She will meet with our partners on both campuses to strategize about their marketing needs, convey that information back to our designers and copywriter, and manage projects for marketing deliverables.

Laura brings a host of skills and experiences to this role, which is critical for the success of the shared services model. Her experience interacting with our campus partners and her ability to plan and execute complex projects with multiple contributors will serve both Luther and Augsburg exceedingly well. Her experience working on the news and media side of our division will help us to build a deeper integration between marketing and PR. Laura will continue to lead the Augsburg Now magazine in her new role, and will begin to take on Luther Story magazine going forward as well.
