Ann Johnson, Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Advancement at the University of St. Thomas, and
Donna Maeda, Dean of the Institute for Global Citizenship at Macalester College are working to establish
a network of Faculty of Color and Indigenous Faculty from the twin cities area to provide opportunities
for professional and social connection. On Thursday, February 22, Macalester is hosting a Happy Hour in
conjunction with their annual American Studies Conference. See below for more information.

and Asian American Studies at the University of Minnesota and Panelists Shelley Carthen Watson, ’82,
and Zeam Porter, ‘19
