The Garbage Gala will be taking place in The East Commons on Christensen Center at 6:00pm on Thursday April 19th. Please come to enjoy a vegetarian buffet (with gluten free and vegan options), and to hear from a panel of experts on proper and sustainable waste disposal! Guest speakers include Alyssa Erding, who has been living zero waste since 2016, and has started her own sustainable health and wellness consulting business, Mallory Anderson, a business waste prevention and recycling specialist at Hennepin county and Allyson Green, Augsburg’s Chief Sustainability Officer.
