Tips to Prevent Theft on Campus

submitted by erchula@augsburg.edu

Public Safety would like to remind you of some awareness tips to help prevent theft occurrences:

-Never leave personal items unattended. Theft occurrences can often happen in under 5 minutes so remember to always take your things with you.
-Do not prop doors open to ensure only the people who have access to that space can gain entry.
-Always be aware of your surroundings and report suspicious activity to Public Safety.

If you have concerns or need to report something, call Public Safety anytime at 612-330-1717.

Augsburg is Hosting Minnesota Private College Week June 25-29

submitted by borwegen@augsburg.edu

You may notice an influx of prospective students and their families on campus June 25-29 as Augsburg University hosts families for Minnesota Private College Week! If you see guests during this time who look lost, please assist them. The idea of this week is to welcome families to campus, introduce them to students and faculty, and share with them what Minnesota private colleges and universities have to offer. Our introductory tours and informational meetings can serve as a first step to help students discover just what they are looking for in a college — especially if they are early in the search.

There will be an open house 9:30 a.m.–noon and 2–4:30 p.m. each day that week, and most of the event will be held in the Hagfors Center. Our guests will be parking primarily in Lots G and J. Thank you in advance for all you do to help us recruit future Auggies!

Please contact the Office of Admissions if you have any questions. We are excited to have this large event on campus this summer to help grow the Augsburg community, and we appreciate your help and patience.
