Bridget Duffy, an undergraduate from the University of Minnesota, Neuroscience major, had been watching her brother’s addiction progress until he suddenly passed last year at the age of 30. He is one of the 72,000 overdose deaths in Minnesota in 2017. In this intimate discussion, Bridget will talk about how addiction impacts the person who is suffering, along with their loved ones in addition. She will also be discussing her passion for health care and incarceration, hoping to educate more on addiction.
