INTERNATIONAL STUDENT EMPLOYMENT OPTIONS
Staff and Faculty, if you are interested in learning more about what options international students have for employment, please attend one of ISSS’s Curricular Practical Training (CPT) or Optional Practical Training (OPT) Workshop. These workshops provide information on the authorizations for international students so you can better support and connect to opportunities for the students you advise.

Curricular Practical Training (CPT)
F-1 students may be authorized and documented in SEVIS to work or internship experiences off campus once they have been in F-1 Status for one year and studied full time. Before participating in any kind of off-campus employment, students must consult an international student advisor.
